The K1 Visa allows a U.S. citizen to bring their foreign fiancé(e) to the United States with the intention of getting married within 90 days. This visa is often a faster route than the marriage visa.
Main requirements:
- Relationship evidence: Must demonstrate evidence of having met your fiancé(e) in person within the last 2 years.
- Marriage intention: Both must be legally free to marry and have a genuine intention to do so within 90 days after arrival.
- Financial capability: The U.S. citizen must demonstrate the ability to financially support their fiancé(e).
